DR HALA ZAYED

Dr Hala was named in Advance Media’s 100 Most Influential African Women in 2020. She has held an number of positions including; Director-General of the General Department of Hospitals in the Medical Therapy Sector of the Ministry, the Head of the Central Administration for Monitoring and Follow-up and the Head of the Department of Grants and Loans at the Ministry. Dr Hala is leading Egypt’s plans to manufacture one billion doses a year of China's Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine, claiming it would become the Middle East and Africa's "biggest vaccine producer".
