EGYPT’S FIRST-EVER FEMALE JUDGE TAHANI AL-GEBALI PASSES AWAY AT AGE OF 72

Former Vice President of the Egyptian Supreme Constitutional Court Tahani al-Gebali, died on Sunday 9th January 2022 at the age of 72 from Coronavirus-related complications. She was appointed vice-president of the Supreme Constitutional Court in 2003, becoming Egypt’s first-ever woman judge.
