The National Union of Tunisian Women, a non-governmental organization founded in 1956 with the independence of Tunisia. Its Mission is to improve the status of women and the elimination of all forms of discrimination against them; to ensure the promotion of women in all areas: economic, social, cultural, scientific and for greater involvement of women in the centers of power and decision-making spaces.
